17. Gameplay Data

When you play The Ball Grid, we collect anonymous event data to help us understand how the game is used and to improve the product. This includes events such as page loads, game starts, cell selections, and game completions.

Each event is tied to a session ID — a randomly generated identifier stored in your browser's local storage. This session ID is not linked to any personal information for anonymous users. It persists across visits on the same device so we can understand returning usage patterns, but it does not identify you as an individual.

For registered users, events may additionally be associated with your account ID. This is used solely to analyse gameplay behaviour in aggregate and to improve the product. We do not use this data for advertising profiling or share it with third parties.

18. Feedback

If you submit feedback using the feedback button on the site, we store your message and its category (bug, suggestion, or other) in our database and receive it by email. This allows us to review and act on your input.

If you are logged in when you submit feedback, your submission may be linked to your account ID so we can follow up if needed. If you are not logged in, feedback is stored anonymously.

Feedback data is used solely to improve the product. It is never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or disclosed to anyone outside of The Ball Grid team.
